TL;DR – Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal to sign USMNT and Juventus winger Tim Weah in a $25M transfer ahead of the 2025–26 season.
Nottingham Forest and Juventus have reportedly agreed on a deal for USMNT winger Tim Weah, part of a €22–25 million package also involving Samuel Mbangula.
- Weah, 25, has made 78 appearances for Juventus since joining from Lille in 2023, tallying 7 goals and 6 assists.
- The transfer is pending personal terms; Weah is currently with Juventus at the FIFA Club World Cup and featured in their opening match.
- If finalized, Weah would join a Nottingham Forest side preparing for UEFA Conference League play after finishing 7th in the Premier League.
The move would make Weah the third American to sign with Forest in two years, following Gio Reyna and Matt Turner.
Hopefully, Weah’s stint at Forest goes better than theirs did.
